# 1 CMO - Philip Schiller, Apple

Philip Schiller is Apple’s Senior Vice President of Worldwide Marketing.

He is responsible for overseeing the company’s product-marketing and business-marketing programs and developer relations.  During his 17 years at Apple, Schiller has aided it in creating the most revolutionary devices of our time as well as reinventing the way we interact with technology.  He is a prominent figure in Apple’s public presentations seeing that he has been at the forefront of creating and marketing products such as the iMac, MacBook, iPod, iPhone, Safari and Apple TV.  After graduating from Boston College in 1982 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology, Schiller held a variety of marketing management positions such as Vice President of Product Marketing at Macromedia, Inc. of San Francisco and as the Director of Product Marketing at FirePower Systems, Inc. of Menlo Park.

#2 Stephen Quinn, Wal-Mart Stores

Stephen Quinn is the Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer of Walmart U.S.  He is responsible for all aspects of Walmart’s marketing efforts, including customer research, strategy, e-commerce marketing, private brands and customer communications.  He joined Walmart in 2005 as Senior Vice President of Marketing.

#3 Trevor Edwards, Nike

As President of the NIKE brand, Edwards oversees Nike’s retail, wholesale, and e-commerce operations.  He has directed some of the brand’s most substantial innovations including Nike+, a revolutionary sports training experience that connects digitally enabled footwear with digital services.  He has also led Nike’s utilization of social media to interact with consumers around the world.

#4 Karen Quintos, Dell

Karen Quintos is Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer for Dell, where she is in charge of bringing the company’s brand to life for Dell customers, team members and stakeholders around the world.  She leads brand strategy, global communications, social media, corporate responsibility, global research, marketing talent development and agency management.

#5 Jon Iwata, IBM

As Senior Vice President of Marketing and Communications at the world’s largest computer company, Jon Iwata is responsible for all worldwide communications for IBM.  These duties include media relations, industry analyst relations, executive and internal communications, shareholder communications and IBM’s global intranet, which serves the company’s 320,000 employees.
